Over the last couple of weeks my 58 460 utility has been getting harder and harder to start. Today it wont fire but once or twice. I have never done any work on it as far as ignition stuff except plugs and wires when I restored it in '09. When it did start it would run rough and then over a short period of time it would even out and run normal (sounded like it was missing on a/several cyclinders) My question is do you think it is in the distributor? If so what parts would I need? Can I get them from an auto parts place (being that it is Sunday and dealer is closed) any help is appreciated...I can always count on the wealth of knowledge AND the willingness to share that wealth!
