Get their rules; learn what length chain they use and where it is hooked on their sled (likely low). Get your drawbar as high as allowed; get yourself a chain THAT length and hook to a stump or dozer that low and get your tractor balanced. And when you hook to the transfer sled, yank it. Don't go starting easy in low torque and then shifting up, unless you have 3 or 400 horsepower and need to do that to not get under the turbo. And do not back off on the rpms. Power and momentum is everything on a transfer sled.
