Hey Allen in Neb. How are you? Hope OK. Remember me? You helped me out several times on my 656. Was wondering if you knew how to take out the drive right angle gear box in front of the timing box on a 684 IH. It does not appear to be bolted on like some. I wondered if it screwed in with threads or ? My tach is not working. I took it loose at the gauge and pulled out the cable. It seems fine I pushed it all way back in and started the engine. Does not turn. I figured it must be a gear in the drive box?? Any help would be appreciated as usual. Or someone who has a 684 and had this problem.
