Hi Diana, I agree with Ken you would deffinately want at least a 560 or larger 656,706,806 somewhere in that range and I would want a wide front, and a 3pt hitch (a wider range of implements readily available than the fast hitch) these tractors would be big enough to handle the 1500lb bales. Also a loader can be put on about any tractor but get one heavy enough for the work you want to do with it(like move bales with the front loader).
