Like Farmall, but can it do the job?

Hi,
I'm looking for a tractor, and yes, I'm really dumb about them. First, hubby said the front wheels have to be wide because he doesn't think I could handle steering when the wheels are close together. Our land is in the CRP and will be out FINALLY this year in the fall. My main need is hay, it's my biggest expense with milk goats and a couple of horses. I wanted to hire someone to disc, plow and plant about 30 acres into hay. Then, I would need a tractor that could cut, bale and haul the big round bales. I could use it for my animals and sell the rest. I had purchased 12 round bales (12-1500 pounds)last fall and asked the farmer guy down the road if he would haul them to the manger for me. They're right out in front of my barn. We agreed I would pay him 10 bucks for each time he came and moved one. I paid him 30.00 up front for 3 "moves". He moved the first one, and I haven't seen him since. Says his tractor is broke for the last three weeks, but his cows have fresh round bales in their mangers! Moral here???? I don't want to have to depend on people to do the job for me. There's no risk in waiting till a farmer has time to disc and plant hay, but when it comes to cuttings, baling and hauling, I want to be my own boss cause for sure, I will be low on the priority list and lose cuttings. So....will a Farmall handle these jobs??? How do I find out what each kind of tractor can do?
Can it handle the weight of the bales? Can it go through deep snow? Can it have a bucket on it to plow snow out of the way? What implements do I need to accomplish this? Would sure appreciate advice on this, even if you think a Farmall isn't the answer. Thanks!
