You think you hated telling me that, think of how I hated hearing it. I was going to make a separate post about the injection pump, but I seem to remember reading that they are fairly straight forward and whatever usually ails them can be repaired by putting in new seals, gaskets, whatever; you don't have to be a rocket scientist to do it. But, on the other hand, the shop where I take my injector and pump work said they do all their work there except the old IH pumps which go to another of their shops. This makes me think they have some peculiarities and the price is going to go sky high. I'm not in this hobby to make money, but one has to be realistic, I would hope to be able to get out of the tractor about what I had in it, if the need arose to sell. I dropped down into Kansas for a consignment sale a few years ago and a fella had an MD and an M for sale. It probably dropped down to around 20-25 degrees that night. The M wouldn't start so he started the MD and used it to pull start the M. Impressed me!!
