Forgot to add--pulling the touch control level back pushes the front of the plow down and makes it go deeper. Push the touch control lever forward pulls the front of the plow up and makes it go shallow. You may need the lever pretty far back to get it to suck into the ground especially on the first pass. You want it to run with the lifting chains slack. The eye bolt is used to level the plow--originally there was a long crank that goes up to level with the steering wheel so you can adjust from the seat. It's just like a 3 point hitch plow, when you're in the furrow you want the plow bottom to be sitting level.
