My A has the same problem, infact i have the tire in the house thawing. Tomorrow it is going to the shop to get a new stem. To make a little snugger fit we took an old inner tube from a tire cut it and wrapped it aroune the hub, then fitt the tire on. This worked for awhile. I am now thinking of welding an inch nut on either side of thestem to protect it from being crushed. With the nuts it can turn but can't go past them.
