Worked for IH dealer 37 years. IH never offered Prestolite distributor on an H. They did start using Prestolite much late on like in a 544 and tractors of that approximate age. Fact is they used most everything in later years but the IH battery ignition unit or H-4 magneto was only options on a Farmall H from factory. Delco was a dealer associated set up used to replace magneto's. The dealer I worked at never opted to sell the Delco. We stayed pretty much straight IH on most ever thing.
