Was the Prestolite distributor stock on H?

Talking to a Case/IH parts guy, he said that the Prestolite distributor was a "replacement" distributor for the Farmall H. So my question is, did the H come from the factory with 1 of 3 options for distributor? Horizontal IH distributor, Vertical Delco distributor, or Horizontal Prestolite distributor. ...Or has my Farmall H's distributor been replaced with a Prestolite after it was purchased?
