I took the top of the transmission off because the hi/low would hardly move at all. I found that the shifting fork does not move very easy on the shaft. Is the fork supposed to slide freely back and forth on the rail ? Now to get the fork out I'm guessing I have to split in front of the tranny? Any info would be greatly accepted.
