5/16" fuel line is correct for nearly all of the letter series Farmalls. I have also found that whoever packages those items for the farm supply type stores, really know very little about it, and packaging is often mis-labled, or maybe the item in that package is NOT what is supposed to be in it.
Just educate yourself before-hand. I've also learned that the genuine article from Case-IH may not be all that much more costly.
