I have a Farmall C, and I'm looking to replace the sediment bulb assembly. It appears that new ones at Fleet Farm have a 1/4 inch outlet, but the outlet on the existing one, currently in the tractor, has 5/16 inch tubing coming out of it going to the carb.
Also when I looked at other C's at a recent tractor show they all had 5/16 inch lines going to carb.
Can anyone shed some light on this? It doesn't make sense to me to use a 5/16 inch line with a 1/4 inch choke point.
