The trick will be getting the flow restriction right to properly" time the action of the top link with the lift/lower action of the bale spear. You don't want the top link tilting things backward before the bale is on the ground. An adjustable flow control valve in just one of the lines to the top link cylinder should help. You don't need two because the valve should restrict in both directions on the one line.
