I have been looking for front end parts for a f-30 that was given to me by my wifes grandfather. The tractor that was given to me was a 1932, it was parked because the front spindle was broken. I found a parts tractor, 1935, that was mostly complete except for some engine parts. I thought that I had solved all of my problems but while looking at pictures last night I see that the steering gear assemblies are different, the '32 has more of an inline steering gear( little gear on steering shaft directly behind gear on top of bolster) and the 35 has the little worm gear off to the side. Can anyone tell me if the spindles and rest of shaft that goes up through the bolster are interchangeable? Need to know because the 32 is 1000 miles away and I have know way to work on it until I actually go to get it next summer. Are a lot of the parts going to be different on the two tractors? Thanks, sorry for being so long but hard for me to explain, Mike S.(WA)
