I have found the best way to start is..don't pull choke then hit starter button..hit starter button ....then{pull choke} slowly...next the 6 volt is obsolete ...way too slow for cold starting .....unbolt everything and throw it all away or better yet find some guy who still is a "purest " and hang that 6 volt junk on him..... then if you want to put light's on tractor , you can buy 12 volt light's every where ..where do you find 6 volt whit out PAYING twice as much..As the noise in a" H" ...you will get noise if you have no fluid..drain it and put in new..then maybe you will only have a 5th gear whine noise ..
