Jim, Thanks for confirming how the right side is constructed. Good point on leaving the seal alone. You also hit right on the tricky part; alignment without damaging the seal. I managed to just lift the left side with its short shaft back into place. I think I'll wait 'till this weekend when I can get some help to tackle this right side. You may have also detected that I'm somewhat scared of this job. I have good cribbing but all this heavy stuff up in the air still makes me nervous.
