there are two seals one on the trans and one between the brake drum and brng next to the wheel on the drivers p;atform might as well replace both when you are apart good for life then the top bng in the axel gets lubed from the pan on the bottom of the final drive some dummys put grease in there sorry it wont lube the top brng the brake drum has to come off to replace the seal as the axel doesent come out the other way just finished going thru one last week
