I am redoing a 1945 A, put in an overhaul kit from tis site and have to do the brakes yet. This tractor has no dents or rust so I am trying to do it right. My question. It needs anew battery so if I go the 12 volt route besides the battery and coil or resistor do I have to change the generator? I've heard people say the gen will cha5rge what ever it is connected to ??. I am not to sure I want to abandon the 6v since the tractor is all original. Any comments welcome. Thanks
