Inside an exhaust lift cylinder there is a leather round piece with a spring under it. Is there any where to find out the dynamics of this leather gasket ( size , thickness etc? I have a friend who makes conveyor belts and he would like to try to make one for MY 1944 A. Could be a source if it works, The one in my A was in pieces along with the spring at the bottom of the cylinder Thanks Henry
