Hi Dead H: Are you sure it is the carburetor? Can't you disassemble it yourself? I would start by 1st.
* Carefully removing the gas line.
* Take the brass elbow out there should be a screen filter on it and it is probably pluged. Clean it up real good and replace it then the gas line. Now start you tractor to see if it works better. This would be the first and easiest step to do. If this doesn't work then you will have to disassemble the carburetor and soak it in some carburetor cleaner. Hope you find the problem. Bob
