First, I am about to have a spare 301 gas out of an 806. It was running pretty good when pulled but could use some freshing up. How difficult would it be to install this engine in a 560? I own two 560 tractors a gas and a diesel. Neither need an engine right now but thinking it would be an upgrade in power if one went down.Along the same line is there differences in bell housing patterns on 806/856 tractors? I thought the pattern was the same on both gas and diesel 806 and 856. I even thought it was the same pattern as used on the 560. Last week a guy told me that he thought gas and diesel and 806/856 were different patterns. I am certain some of you guys know and I could sure use your knowledge!
