Red Rookie, Sounds like your wife knows how to pick them. If the tractor is as you say, it is definely a fair price. The only thing that I would want to check is to see if the TA works. This can be checked by a test drive. Put the tractor in 2nd, high range and begin to drive at about half throttle and apply the brakes for some drag simulating a load. While doing that switch to low range and see if the tractor continues to pull well. If the TA is bad the tractor will not load down much at all or even stop. The 1066 is a good machine. JohnIH
