Saw a fairly nice M sell at an equipment sale for $475.00 last Saturday. I wish I'd paid attention and bought it myself. It had a single front wheel and the draw bar was completely missing. I was told it had a mounted two row corn picker on it that had sold separately. It had a hot manifold with the matching steel cover over the hot manifold. A starting tank to start on gas and crankcase diluted oil drain petcock (to drain off the unburned kerosene that would collect on top of the crankcase oil) but did not have the shutters to heat the engine to burn low grade fuel. My question now that I think about it is, would the shutters be needed if there was a high temperature thermostat in the cooling system? Your input please. --Walt--
