Your right, it did freeze. Don't remember all the details, but the IH dealer (at the time) left the tractor outside when it was in for service. Don't know for sure about water in crank case. It seems at the time we figured the block was shot. Only way to know for sure is to dismantle and inspect the engine. Thanks for all the input from everyone so far. I'll be checking out the leads and hope to get something accomplished. If any more information would greatly be appreciated.
