I am changing out the fluids on My C and just had some questions. I stuck my finger in the oil drain to see if there was sludge built up on the bottom of the oil pan. Good news there didn't seem to be. BUT...there is a metal plate or something floating in there just resting on the bottom. What is that? Also. does the PTO need lube of its own? I think it shares with the transmission but why does it have a drain and a fill plug? (or what looks to be) Hydrolics...I have a Swartz loader with my C and there is a resivor for hydrolic oil there. Is this aftermarket? do I just fill that? How do I drain the whole system and possible flush it. I drained out the engine oil and got about a quart of water from that. Hydrolic oil looked just sick with water. I drained 17 gallons from the tranmission. (only got three or four gallons on the floor..and one on my) Thanks
Corey
