Hello there, I have heard alot about the 706 diesel being a very hard starting engine by nature, i have a 1964 706 Diesel which has the original D282 diesel (not German 310) I saw a post from someone else the other day that pertained to being timed property, do any of you know about setting the injection timing on th e pump? Is this something that can be adjusted? It has a new injection pump on it, the engine was overhauled less than 50 hours ago and it has new glow plugs so I'm just wondering is thus an issue that is just in its nature to be hard starting or are there adjustments that can be made to improve this.
