I think the transmission will probably be the limiting factor - it dates back to the M. Durable but not sure how well it will hold up under higher HP. The 686 also uses the same trans with a big D-312 engine goverened down to 1800 and just under 70 pto HP. I sure if turned up to 2400 like its bigget twin brother D-414 could get up into the 80's even 90's.
