Bergan, Wow how thin was the hay? Or did the neighbors have a really big baler? Have seen an M bale in 4th but can't imagine even staying on the tractor in 5th. I have been known to use the Heisler to speed up sickel bar mower. Doesn't seem to plug as bad but the wear on the machine is probably excessive. Love the 9 speed when pulling loads up hill on the road. 4th o/d is very close to 5th in speed and a lot faster than 4th. Dick Davis
