Andy lays out the steps very well. I will try to add this. I assume you're trying to remove the engine. The pictures in my 140 manual (similiar setup) show some good stuff. They show removing the front axle and radiator as an assembly leaving the rest of the tractor supported at the bell housing with engine hanging at the front. Then use a roll around engine hoist to support the engine while removing it from the bell housing. Safety of course is the issue. The IH book shows two substantial jack stands, one on each side of the bell housing. The top of the jackstands are bolted to some heavy plates that bolt to the sides of the bell housing at the implement holes. Maybe you can build up the cribbing under the bell housing and make some brackets out of wood of steel that bolt into these bell housing holes. For myself, I would only feel confortable with really wide, nailed or bolted together cribbing, actually bolted to the tractor. Be Careful, David
