My experience goes back farther than that. I spent many hours on Farmalls, including a Super A back when I was a teenager on the farm in Missouri. That was in the 1950s. We used to cultivate 40+ acres of corn with the Super A. Tried to cultivate it 3 times before it got too big. One row at a time, early morning until too dark to see. I thought we would never get done! The Super A also mowed and raked hay, pulled wagons, and all did all sorts of other chores. I'm sure that Super A had thousands of hours on it. I know it was overhauled two or three times and at least two sets of rear tires were worn out.
