hit it with some pb a day before the work, and take a lil hammer out with you.. small.. like a tack hammer.. and just tap all the way around the joint.. not big smacks.. just medium.. spray again.. then come back later with the puller.. do the 2-hammer smack using one hammer to back it up and then throw the puller on and put under tension.. expirement with hitting it with puller on.. etc.. generally that gets them moving.. be carefull not to mushroom the end of the shaft where the nut is.. I usully leave the nut on a few turns .. that gives the arm room to move.. but keeps the puller from mashing the top of the shaft and expanding the threads..
