My Cub Cadet just burnt up today. I bought it from True Value in 2009; had trouble from the start. I never received a recall notice but don't know what kind of engine it had before the fire. I checked it before use and there were no nests or other debris under anything. It appeared to be leaking oil before the fire as I smelled oil burning then saw flames. I raised the hood but things were starting to melt; so I backed off in case it exploded.
