Thats the info i couldnt remember off the top of my head at work yesterday. LOL I knew that there was a change in 38-9. My family has B #60006, which is the first styled BN. According to the Deere Archives it was built June 14th 1938, shipped the 16 to the Sales Dept. Then in August shipped to the Portland Branch. So is it a 38 or 39? We consider it a 39 as the Styled tractors were 39 models, but if the production year was from July, then its a 38. Confusing stuff.
One other note on the tractor, its very likely that it is the tractor shown in many books and the B photo archive on full steel and used for Deere publications.
