The welding I got done locally for $45. It pays to have a cousin who is a machinist. He made the new shims for me and steered me to the welding shop (a good one). It also helps that he loves old iron too. He would have an N but he is kept busy on his Model A's. He has one that is restored to showroom quality. And he has 2 more waiting to be restored. One is a pickup. He loves old iron and drools over my N ( just like me ). I'll post a pic of the Model A sometime. :-)
