Now I'm no logger..... but it occurs to me that a tractor seat directly above a cable winch that's under a lot of strain is NOT a place I want to spend much time in! Sooner or later, cables break, and the ends tend to whip about. However, I suppose those more familiar with this stuff might assure me that it's a lot safer than many of the things I've done with a tractor from time to time!
