Here are a couple of ideas. First, logs drag best when the butt is elevated off the ground. This keeps it from digging in. Fabricate a stout "T" for your 3 point hitch. Also fabricate an extended top link/boom. Put a chain hook on the end compatable with your logging chain. Back your tractor up to the logg butt, put the chain around the log, hook it to the boom, lift a couple of inches and drive off. Also, consider an electric winch as used on jeeps, etc. Mount on the front of your tractor and winch tractor and log together with tractor power engaged.
