I'm not sure that it's the economy; I think it speaks more to 'society'. My parents came of age during the 'Great Depression' in the rural South. Despite what the history books will say, 'reconstruction' lasted until WWII. Life was incredibly hard, but there were few thiefs around. Now-a-days, living in poverty means that you only have 1 or 2 cars instead of many; 1 or 2 TVs, a cell phone for every family member, etc. Everyone below the age of (pick a number......40???) has a sense of entitlement. Today's Featured Article - Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned.
