Yes, I AM reading ;-) Sounds like a good deal; could make three people happy. Your 326 may be a desirable tractor to a collector. 423s, however, are a dime a dozen, especially with a bad engine. Not that it matters much, but are you sure the 423 has direct injection? I think it has glow plugs as opposed to e.g. a 453, which has direct injection and no glow plugs. Questions: Does the 423 have Agriomatic or a separate hand cluth (i.e. life PTO)? Does the 423 have an underslung exhaust? (I've never seen one, but can be modified.) Make sure it is not a narrow tread orchard model; you will not like that on hills. Have you looked at the amount of fabrication that will be required to modify the mounts for your loader? It may be cheaper to look for a direct fit loader. Your skinny Baas loader may be no match for a 423 anyway.
