Visited today with Boots Oneal brand inspector for the 6666 ranch, He said they were having to ship their mama cows to Wyoming and Nebraska, because of the drought. This is the first time since the Burnett family has had to do this since the ranch was bought in 1899.
Boots stated that he had visited with a Waggoner Ranch cowboy and they had shipping 3000 head of cows to Nebraska.
Both of these ranches are spitting distance of where we live.
