Chevy 2500, year 2000. Fill up gas tank, gauge may or may not go to empty, stay there few seconds or few minutes, go back to "Full". Doesn't always do it. Been doing it year & half now. Aware that fuel pump needs gas to cool it & always keep tank between half full & full. Doesn't affect running of engine. Is this a sign of fuel pump failing soon or something that is minor?
