Ford 8N Rear End Leaks

Help! My '51 8N rear end leaks oil into the brakes and down the outside of the wheels.
It makes a mess and is very hard to stop due to the oily brakes. I replaced the big seals, but I think the oil is coming through the spline. I even dried the spline & hub with starting fluid and slathered the spline with blue Permatex Silicone. I'm not sure I was able to tighten the hub nut tightly enough. Any suggestions? Thanks
