Dave,did you catch that heifer that got away from you? I got to thinking last night after I turned off the computer,if you had the front panel off of a creep feeder or something similar that the calf could get through but the cow couldn't,put the cow back in the pen and put up the panel,then just wait. Her natural instinct is going to be to come right back to her mother when she's scared. As far as getting rid of her after you catch her,if I did that,I wouldn't have any left. It took me 5 days to catch all of'em this year. I had calves under gates,over fences,through fences,you name it. I eventually baited all of'em in and have them penned in the barn. Ain't the cattle business a hoot though?

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
