you can lower jugs onto pistons...its same principle as re-ringing a Harley...normal ring compressor wont work...i use however many hose clamps it takes to go around piston/rings and tighten them so they compress rings and barely touch pistons...pour some light oil over rings and oil cylinders...put jug on and tap it with a lead or rubber hammer to slide jug over piston...once rings are inside,remove hose clamps...a helper would come in handy since the jugs youre filling are a wee bit heavier than the ones on my Harley...good luck ps: Harley jugs are chamfered on the bottom for easier ring insertion...if the MM jugs arent,you need to grind about a 1/4" chamfer on bottom of cylinders.
