You know the same business rules that apply to any other field, apply to tractors? By limiting expenses, older tractors can return a reasonable investment. Sometimes instead of replacing everything that would be swapped out if it were your truck, some expense can be saved by repairing the components. I tell my wife that it isn't always profitable to paint a tractor. If the goal is to earn money, keeping expenses low is the key. I don't want to raise concerns about the quality of work, but, if a started can be repaired with new brushes, as opposed to replacing the starter, we got to do what we got to do. I'm just starting out, and I have to watch the cost, but, a reasonable return is something within reach.
