I laugh every time I hear it:
ATT Cellular is running a radio ad on WWJ-AM in Detroit, powerful local news station. Probably get reception to some of the furthest suburbs and close-in rural areas. What catches my ear is the guy saying "now you can use your smart-phone GPS to keep track of where you planted your crops and use video-chat to ask your dad how to restart the baler".
First how many of you "real farmers" lose track of where you planted your crops? How did you do it before without GPS? :?
Secondly, If you're running the "baler" by yourself, chances are you know how to "start" it. And if you did call your dad, he'd probably say "stop, don't touch anything. If you're that dumb, wait for me to get home".
Third, I can't imagine that radio station would reach any area where there's a large audience that would even understand what the guy was talking about. Maybe reach a few guys in Michigan like hayray,Spook, RayP and a few other "farmers", but to justify an expensive radio ad?
