I completely agree Bob. If I, or anyone else for that matter, were to run for an office I believe it should be looked upon as a job interview. Furthermore any statements, signs, etc. used in the campaign should act as a resume. I personally wouldn't even think to provide a prospective employer with a resume I wasn't 100% sure was spotless as far as grammar and spelling, let alone truthful.
