In theroy you could get the same work from a green leaker. In practice... I rather doubt it. The reason being... you never gain back the time you lost jamming gears at the Jimmy when it falls flat on it's face. They also spend innumberable hours screaming away, burning fuel because they don't have the torque to take a gear and pick up some speed... then lug it out when they hit a tough spot. I've never seen anything so sad as a 353 to die when it sees a hill.
