I'm in the process of buying a PJ deck over trailer it's 22' and 102" wide. Heres my question. I will be driving my tractor up there and would like to put an implement or 2 at the same time. I'm also going to be winching things like old pull behind combines up on board as well as disabled vehicles. So I was going to go with the dove tail and fold up ramps to make it easier to load but I'm worried about losing the 2 or 3 feet capacity in the dove tail area. Another option is the pop up dove tail but I dont see how that will help if you have to roll something up there and need the last 2 feet you wont be able to deploy the ramps because the equipment will be sitting on it. The winch, they want $1800 to mount an 8 thousand pound winch, this seems way too expensive. Should I just custom order the winch plate and do the rest my self?
