This tractor is going to be the end of my sanity!
Almost done planting with it but still have food plots to do - I'm running with a leaking forward clutch cylinder...but almost done - today the PTO lever would not disengage the PTO - have not had any problems or even a hint of problems (w the PTO) and didn't hit anything while cutting this morning but the lever feels loosy forward and backward...like its not doing anything... I turned the tractor off so I could remove the PTO shaft and move the equipement out of the field and...(you probably already guessed) the tractor will not restart - doesn't matter which position the lever is in (course I know it won't start engaged) but I figured it was a lever position switch...
Anyone know how to bypass this so I can restart the tractor, load it up, and get it to JD??
Its not cranking or anything - I'm guessing there is something similar to the neutral safety switch...I found the switch righ near the base of the lever for the PTO and tried to short the contacts but no dice...(it was just a guess).
Its a JD2555, collar shift trans, no cab, w reverser and no hi/low...

I think the furthest has been the Two Cylinder 7 in the Amana Colonies last year. Lots of stuff, lots of people. I've also atten
